This can be closed because they don't deserve a topic. The coach is fine, the players have talent, yet they still manage to act like girl scouts on defense. For the love of god, give Amir Johnson more playing time. I love how Bosh plays like a beast any time he has an open lane, but then backs away as soon as anyone over 6'10" and 260 lbs is nearby.

That sums it up imo. A team that could win 50 games in stride won't win 35 without a fight.

Adding this because the raptor is relevant. It also speaks for the team's mentality:

When Chris Bosh leaves for more money elsewhere, good night Toronto.

And while you started a subject for terrible Toronto sports teams, shouldn't you have mentioned the Maple Leafs?

Mentioning the Leafs might not help the cause.

The Craps could beat a lot of teams if they played defense and stopped making ridiculous line-up changes that don't match what's happening on the floor. They have the talent to get to the Eastern semi-finals but they have the defensive mentality of gay sponges.

Looks like their winning streak is legit. I'm not sure if they can be consistent, but they are playing closer to their potential now.

I think the main reason why all this shit is gay is not because you are updating us on a pos sports team from canada. It is the simple fact it is NBA shit ball.

it's not as exciting to watch as college ball but it's mechanically better. there's more 1-on-1 play in the NBA, and there's less hard running up and down the court (not that NBA players aren't capable) in most games, but the skill level and understanding of the game are much higher. and the players are bigger. those are the chief differences. i enjoy watching NBA basketball and NCAA basketball. for me it's partly a matter of enjoying execution of strategy and skill, and partly a matter of enjoying the competition. NCAA games generally have fiercer competition involved. i think both leagues should consider longer games, with a shorter schedule for NBA teams.

but i don't see why u think the NBA is shit ball. however i will suggest that if most of the starting guards in the NBA were my height (5'11"), they wouldn't have made the NBA.

The regular season in the NBA is terrible, not worth watching.

NFL on the other hand is fun to watch regular season.

I just don't like it.

somehow against all odds they've got their head out of their asses lately. it's plainly a matter of playing consistent, hard defense. they match up well against most teams in the east but i think they're a second round playoff team at best. they have a lot of potential but they will need more experience and skill to advance further. they still don't have much overall toughness.

Just beat the Lakers. Miracles happen. This may be the highlight of their 2009-10 season.
