my nfl wish, besides anything bears, is for vernon davis to win a sb before its all over

i know that in and of itself doesnt mean much, but when he said hes the best QB in the game preseason and goes out and wins a superbowl definitely is deserving

he's going to get a huge paycheck, no doubt, but its not "not deserved"

i'd beg to argue that he was going to get one regardless (who where the ravens going to go out to get? flacco was a proven commodity IMO), but the sb definitely puts him at a better pay range

I've felt from Day 1 since Flacco came into the League I thought he was a great talent. I felt he got a bad rep because he didn't play the the FBS level and came from D-1AA.

He's never really had weapons on that team until the last 2 years with Ray Rice and getting more WRs to be a threat.

I always thought people were too hard on him and unfair in their judgement. He plays in one of the hardest divisions minus the shitty Browns. The Ravens/Bengals/Steelers are always 8-8 or better teams for the last 3-4 years. He just seemed bad because he would lose to Brady in the playoffs and other top QBs.

Now he is a Top 3 QB in the League from my perspective. Brady/Rodgers/Flacco. Peyton Manning is getting older and he showed again he likes to choke in the playoffs except for the one time he beat the shitty ass Bears in the Super Bowl and the Colts DEs won them that Super Bowl anyways. And Eli is only Elite if his team makes the playoffs. Also he's had the great fortune to have the best pass rush defense of the 00 era.

Those 3 are QBs who in general are reliable all the time. They stay healthy. And they actually don't choke in the playoffs. Honestly I think the Ravens would have won the Super Bowl last year but their kicker blew away his career with one kick.
