to be fair, i was more worried about this game than the patriots game
the bills fucked up denver and barely lost

at the end of the day though who cares, 1 win and we're in
2 wins and we're division champs with some homefield to look forward to

i remember one time when Eli manning was waiting for people at a press conference and there was only 1 reporter in the whole room. he had just finished playing against peyton (who won) and all the reporters were over in the other room

eli showed class and stayed for the whole thing

thats my point, cutler showed zero class. his body language is still of one who just does not fucking give a fuck. he treats it like a 9-5 job, not a body of work that defines your career. im done with him, as i previously said. next year may be an improvement, but it should just be a "rebuild the base, and the following year we get a qb".

there are 2 options
1. saving him from injury for trade bait
2. trestman heard the report just one day earlier about being fired at seasons end and is trying to make a point that "hey, im going to do what it takes to win!". which is great except its week 17.

caveat:
(unlikely)reason 3. week 17 message to players: you all aint trying hard enough so ill bench cutler to let you all know that ill bench anyone, even our qb.

thats because its not the right move. its just trestman being desperate to save his job (hes already fired imo). trestman lost the team this year. if a coach loses the team, he has to go.

just who in the world do you think would trade for cutler
in what situation does he flourish? he has arguably the best receiving core around him and they don't succeed.... you think if oakland traded for him they would be better?
just come to terms with the fact that hes a cancer
denver needed to get rid of him to succeed, so do the bears

trade him for 5th round pick, someone will take it

or you could try and get a stud player, i bet oakland would be willing to trade khalil mack for cutler, roflol

bears coaching is pretty terrible, i don't know, just trying not to put it all on cutler and some blame should go to the bears staff/management

thank you for the honest take on the situation. i agree completely. from the top down we are a horrible organization this year.
the texans would be a perfect location for cutler to succeed. a team that will actually run the ball and has a defense that does not force the offense to throw the ball 40 times a game.
and as for the salary hit, this year was the biggest year, next year it's only like 17 mil. at this point we would proal take a 4th for him. and there are at least 10 teams that are diso a qb. cutler just needs a team that wont force him to be tom brady.

yeah basically, texans made it to the playoffs one year with schaub. cutler's gotta be better than him. and the eagles were good with mcnabb, who i do not think was any better either

i hate cary williams so much

seriously incapable of making a legal tackle

bump, going to push a receiver on the complete opposite side of the field as the play, 15 yard automatic first down on 4th and 9 in the red zone
