what i learned from my first hockey game
. holy shit is everything just more impressive live
. skating is so much more crisp
. passing and receiving the pass is so much more difficult live
. everything is really so much closer to the goalie than it looks like. the reaction times are ridiculous
. being able to see the angles of passes off of the boards from our seats was really impressive
. being able to see the plays develop from our seats was really impressive
. minnesota is a total hockey state

the puck is really loud at all times. that does not come across on tv either

ohh, and buffalo is really bad. i dont think they were in their own offensive zone but 20 minutes all game.

rex ryan was sitting one section away from my buddy at the game i guess (same owner bills/sabres in case people outside buffalo don't know that)

rex opening press conference was fairly entertaining. good to have a coach that can actually speak after dealing with doug marrone's autsism behind the mic for two years

the continued losing is nothing of concern, im sure

didn't even get anything for that and voracek got 10 minutes for misconduct, was kinda bullshit

pens outshot flyers like 21-3 in the first period

pens-flyers games are always stupid entertaining, even after bryz left
