Stars are going to be a great team to watch this season. Completely loaded on their top two lines, some very talented defensemen who can move the puck, and a giant question mark behind it all. It's the opposite of how the Rangers will slow down a game and rely on goaltending, the Stars will just speed it up because their most reliable thing is scoring.

3v3 OT has been cool, but for the Rangers it led to as much 4v3 as it did 3v3. Still, it gets the game going really fast, and Yandle's penalty shot was cool for the one-round shootout it was.

Might be? I think Kozlov started at age 19 but didn't play the full season, and Dandenault made the roster shortly before his 20th birthday, but that was mid-season. I remember Jiri Fischer also being the "youngest since Yzerman" to make the team, but he was the 6th defenseman and seeing as this was around 1999 he also barely played, maybe ten minutes per night.

Larkin looked really good in preseason, though. Wings vs. Oilers in two weeks on Wednesday, that'll be a late game I'll be sure to catch.

Also probably going to go to the Rangers-Stars game in January.

was fun to watch although i only caught the 3rd period, after there was already a hat trick

the announcers clarified first to start opening night since yzerman

larkin looked really solid in the iihf games last spring for what it's worth

today is the first time this season i can watch a full game (lolsabres-lightning), would be cool to see 3v3 OT but doubt it haha

The sky cam has been terribly integrated and isn't really suited for following hockey plays. Anything exciting happens, and it is just disorienting. Nothing interesting happens, it's just a different angle of the same thing. I'd like to have the behind-the-net cam for every power play, though.
