cost of beam has gone up 3 bucks in the last too months and is expected to go up again here shortly
If I'm spending nearly 18 bucks for a fifth, I'd much rather shell out an extra 5-6 bucks and get a bottle of eagle rare which is amazing bourbon

I don't know where you are from, but it's clearly in all the stores here in PA.
Other respectable and decently priced bourbons would be knob creek and makers mark
Rebel yell has a nearly identical finish to jim. Costs around 24 bucks for a handle.

if you are really into vodka try: moskovskaya, russian standard, finlandia (clear, no flavour)
all they have classic pure taste

you are the first person I've ever hear say something positive about burnets other than it's price
The beast purchased a fifth of their vanilla vodka to make some crazy coffee martini. She paid for the fifth with a $5 and got change.
