how big is your monitor

around 13 inches wide and 8 inches tall

im on a laptop

how can you stand things being so small then
i always figured the people who dont use all of their screen space are playing on massive displays

i can zoom in meni times, thats pretty much almost all the way zoomed out

also as a tank i need to be aware of everything around me and keep and eye on the entire area of where i am

ya i know about the actual world display, but action bars and buffs and such

although mines pretty much the same scale except without the black bars

the black bars are there to kind of rescale the screen to give it a wider more cinematic view, without fucking with the resolution of my monitor so things stay in proportion

also i'm so familiar with my action bars/keybindings that i dont even need to look at them, so why not have a better look at the fight i'm working on

need to watch for clouds so i can pull him away from them

euh its not my cup of tea, black bars throw it for me

unless you moved grid/ your unit frames up into black bar so more screen space

but otherwise nn black bars imo

That's horrible.

I really don't get what people don't like about the stock UI

wasted space with things like portraits and borders

health bars are way too small

i play at 1024x768, i need all that extra space i can get

Wasted space? I like getting to enjoy the view of the environment, I hate the clutter that all of these "fancy" UI's shit up the screen with. I guess I'm just a tough customer, probably why I am DPSing.

not everything is HOLY SHIT IN YOUR FACE, theres a lot of ways to get a nice clean ui out there

I'm aware of the "minimalistic" UI's and their designs to make everything look like it has plenty of space, however I don't need any of those silly bars all of the screen for shit that doesn't concern me. The only thing that I feel I will need one day is a threat meter to make sure I don't pull off of bad tanks.
