ie mac couldnt turn in for alder, and hadnt done the intro quest in shat either
but he is unfriendly with scryer, so may have an intro quest with aldor maybe?

right
you start out neutral with both if you just meet them
if you do some random quest for one while leveling before you do the intro quest to align you to one, youll be very close to neutral with both still, but one will ding down to unfriendly
