Hi :joe: !

OMW to work for a short shift, but I read the thread, and I also believed that I have expressed my opinions on this matter. Let me go ahead and put them in writing, since it's something that I do best.

John thinks everyone should be as good as him, that's why when Ulduar comes out, we won't see him. I don't play a game to have to study it on the internet. If this is the case, I will stick to my questing & just buy anything that I want. You are definitely the group leader and know more about every class than most of us (Mac is probably up there with you since he's smart as fuck when he wants to be), but the rest of us don't mind wiping, learning new things on our own, and playing together. Your so impatient with us that it's sometimes not fun when you seem to be disgusted that we don't get things the first time around.

Josh has had a stick shoved up his ass now for the better part of a month now, and I still don't know why. He claims to "og;dc" about everything, if this is the case, he wouldn't spend the better part of 14+ hours a day playing WoW. I love you Josh, but you need to get a job or go back to doing something more productive. And if I ever hear about how "easy it is to make gold" from someone who has no job, I will not be happy.

Mac's priority is not to focus on helping people with shit, he's too fucking smart to deal with that and stated very early on that he wanted to raid. Those of you who have a problem with that should QTI. On a side note, you also need to get a job, you're about as confused as I was, but shit, at least work until you figure out something better to do.

I am a greedy asshole. I do not have the time to invest to be successful at this game. I bot. I am going to be stingy with my gold, unless it's something you really need. I work, I have a job, I have a social life, most of you have these and can understand. I get tired of hearing snide comments about me botting, regardless if they are just for fun.

Gary called all of this shit out months ago, for anyone that doesn't remember.

@ Nick

i normally dont care about "less successful" wow nights, of course ive had bad nights where i start in a bad mood then wiping or failing at things just makes it worse

im fine with you not having time to look up things beforehand, but at least ask me about something or some boss you dont know how to do and i can run through a quick explanation

the other night when i was pissed it was because you were committed to these achievements in azjol, we tried some and failed for reasons that doesnt really matter, but then we got to the last boss, and you didnt even know what his basic abilities were, which tanks always need to know, mainly this, which is why we wiped

Quote
Pound: 18k on plate with a 4 second stun, has a 3 second cast time. This ability hits in a frontal cone from Anub'arak. Note that the direction Anub'arak casts it is towards wherever his aggro target was standing at when he BEGINS casting Pound; he cannot turn during its cast time. The facing of Anub'arak's model may not accurately show the direction he's casting Pound at; if you are unsure of where he's aiming a Pound, it's best to run away from him, as Pound's max range is short (10-15 yards). It can be particularly hard to predict where a Pound is being aimed at if Anub'arak starts casting it immediately after running to an edge of the platform, or immediately after surfacing, since threat is wiped after a resurface and Anub'arak's first aggro target will be whoever happens to attack him first.

just using that as an example though

@ everyone
also i expressed a bit ago that im getting a little tired of always being the one that has to be the catalyst to get things going and be the leader
example, someone suggests raid or heroic or something in gchat, someone else agrees, someone else agrees, rarely does someone actually get the group together and going if i am around, you guys just assume ill be the one to do that
i understand that to some extent, i do like getting things going, but i wish someone else would do it for a change, instead of just saying "oh yeah ill do this or that with you guys, go ahead and let me know when the group is ready"

weve been trying to bite off more than we can chew lately, and just need to slow down and enjoy what we can when we have the chance, and that should relieve the pressure weve been putting on each other

i meant this more as a gut check for each of us, not really calling each other out

looking into the mirror is tough, trust me, i know

Alright John, you've definitely made some very valid points. You definitely carry us and we don't do much to assist you with setting up plans, getting things rolling, etc. That's a lot of pressure that I'm sure you are getting a bit dragged down having to deal with it every day. I would like to point out that Mac has definitely made more of an attempt than anyone else in getting groups started, but everybody bad mouths him and says they aren't going to join his groups any more because they fail. We need to find a happy medium. I would also like to say that Bobdave & Josh did a good job of putting together a 25 man Vault the other day.

As for not knowing about boss abilities, general game play mechanics and knowledge, I will try to improve that. I definitely have the mind set of someone who just wants to be told what to do and mindlessly DPS, and as a tank I can not do that. I will try to improve on that, you shouldn't have to be carrying us through everything constantly.
