i could have done it faster but i went the long route [gathered many extra sets of twilight gear for an extra four quests in my quest for loremaster of kalimdor]

basically, just farm texts [be sure to kill the prophet, he spawns in 2 locations on a 30 min timer at one and a 1 hour timer at the other and drops 7-10 texts each time] and use each set of twilight gear to get abyssal crests [the first step]

you can do the 3x crests -> 1x signet, and then 3x signet -> 1 scepter but its really more work in the long run for not much more rep [except for the first two times you do it, which results in 2000 rep [1000 per quest], but it's really more efficient to just turn in 3x abyssal crests for rep

you now get 10 rep a kill for cultists all the way to exalted

so 27 sets of twilight trappings to get the 3 abyssal scepters for one time quest
then 9 sets of twilight trappings to get 3 abyssal signets for one time quest

then 3 sets of twilight trappings per repeatable turnin of abyssal crests?

dont need 3x abyssal scepters for 1 time

the first abyssal scepter isj ust turn in 1

and then there's another chick who asks for 1x abyssal scepter

so you only need 20 twilight sets iirc
