Join some shit guild that's not going to clear anything consistently so you can feel frustrated with raiding again.

Pros - Conquest badges, get some loot, tanking gear [etc]
Cons - Rage, sucks to fail, consistency will proelbay suck if you're in a fail guild, [etc]

you applied there during 3.0.x when they were doing well, then ulduar came around and it seems your runs have gone to a crock of shit

Yeah, exactly. I figured we've missed at least close to 50 pieces of loot by not doing Emalon as a guild. (I know that's plus or minus, but it's still quite a bit.)

10 man gear would have also been a vast improvement for many, at a much, much, much quicker pace.
