epic gems coming out, prospected from titanium, made with alchemy, buyable with honor or badges

new heirloom chestpieces coming out, 10% exp gain that stacks with the shoulders

The design recipes for cutting epic gems will be made available for purchase with Dalaran Jewelcrafter’s Tokens and there are several ways to obtain raw epic gems:

* Prospecting Titanium Ore
* Alchemy transmutations
* Purchased with Honor
* Purchased with Emblems of Heroism

Looks like I will continue to do JC Daily, going to stock up on Titanium Ore...

20000 G / 30 G per stack = 667 Stacks of Titanium Ore

Assuming 5 Titanium Ore per Prospect: 667 Stacks * 4 Prospects per Stack = 2668 Prospects

Assuming 1:100 Prospects ratio for Epic Gems: 2668 Prospects * 1% Prospect ratio = 26 Epic Gems

Assuming I want to make my money back: 20000 G / 26 Gems = 770 G / Epic Gem to break even

This proelbay isn't going to be worth it.

On the bright side, I don't see many other people doing this on my server.

epic gems are meant to be replacements to blue quality gems for raiders, not something everyone needs to farm for months to get
