recapping last night:
everyone wanders in from the pvp fest by stone about 6:35. buffs and assignments take 15 minutes. first pull was right before 7. we hit clouds. lots of clouds. after 2 pulls one person randomly dc's or ninja logs for a good 15 minutes. we proceed to wipe total of 4 times on yogg -1. by 8 the decision was made to not omit mimiron and the thought was we needed to exit instance for 30 min to reset the keepers. by 8:30 we have 21 on and the keepers are not reset. so we decide to pull razorscale. first pull was maybe 8:45. we wipe cuz bad. second pull we down him and i get cape (yay me). we proceed to ignis trash, pull ignis, and wipe because 3 constructs were up and the tank died, to which the tank tried to call out a healer which is lol cuz 3 constructs were up and no one seemed to notice :donno:

raid over

there is no resetting
once a keeper is sent down, hes down for the duration of that raidID

extending lets your existing raidID persist into the next week
still the same ID = keepers will still be down

tl;dr

you cant bring a keeper back up unless you let your old raidid expire, then clear a new instance

once you kill a boss in the extended raidID, you are saved for that week

you can extend, then cancel the extension during the week if you havent gotten yourself saved to the old ID

No....

You can't reset a raid.

End of story.

I hope that answers the question without you getting pissy about it.

:k:

Not going to ever answer a question you ask again, since you get upset when the answer is explained to you.

Several people last night were trying to explain it to you, and then I did the easiest thing I could, I simply stated "You can't reset a raid", and you still got upset.

:donno: how else to explain it to you, when I was first told when I asked the question, I didn't shoot the messenger.

maybe i felt the question was being answered oddly, or in a direction that did not address what i was asking? maybe when you do answer a question try to not be so righteous? especially when you ask some of the most basic wow questions still and we give you a straightforward answer with no "you fucking moron" attitude? where did you simply state anything? your entire post was to prove some point that "how could you be so stupid to not understand this". john answered the question perfectly once he understood what i was asking, and without the guise of "you fucking dumbass".

moral of the story is i can not stand being talked down to. its a pet peeve. its a respect i try to never cross just because i feel like showing someone up. am i perfect? no. but i realize this.
