This is OfC with DC m8's

-[ Server transfer
-[ Join a casual guild
-[ Create a guild and make sure the officers (us) get loot first

Server transfer: I guess I am for this, I don't really have the $25 to spend, but something with more Horde players would be nice if we aren't going to be in a raiding guild so we can PUG the things we want to do

Join or start a guild: John would have to lead raids, I doubt he wants to do that, I certainly wouldn't. Stoya & Zerkcies do want Frostmournes though. Perhaps we can join a casual guild, top dog it (ofc), and convince the Officers to loot it to us.

What server, do we go post in the guild recruiting forums that the (3 or 4) of us are looking to join some random weekend raiding guild as a group. I'm not interested in transferring and being split up.

I think weekends would be nicer, as during the week I could do my dailies, level up new characters, putz around, and not have to worry about being committed to stuff while I'm trying to go work out or do homework.

John brought it up, wanted to see discussions. Personally, I want to be on the highest of high horde population realms so I can try to sell gold easier.

You have a 100% different agenda than any of us, Joe, John, and myself enjoy playing together. We also play with other m8's. Josh, Tanner, and yourself dance to your own tune and don't care to include yourselves with us.

Also, I did not notice, or care really. What server?

DC Ventrilo or GTFO (kind of LOL since Joe tried to make a claim against PIC not including people because they didn't hop on Ventrilo).

Either way, we usually do shit at nights & on the weekends, you randomly get on at various times and have a social life that none of us do. That makes it hard to play with each other.

we didnt really grind anything but cenarion exp through steamvault
you asked us to go like a week after we finished our grind, which was sorta :euh: after we were sick as shit of the place from doing our own grind, as im sure you can understand

my first character (Pratik) started on Cairne, it was dominated by horde at the time
it was also terribly progressed due to opening right as i started playing

Prices as of Monday, October 19

Mal'Ganis (608 pages of Auctioneer scans, ours has @ it's highest, 350ish)
Crusader Orb - cheaper (500)
Frost Lotus - same
Titansteel Bar - same

Most prices seem about the same, like our server, only more players, more sellers, more buyers; there were tons of raid epics, crafted epics, and gear all over the place for sale

Skullcrusher (426 pages of Auctioneer scans)

Most prices seem about the same, like our server, only more players, more sellers, more buyers; there were tons of raid epics, crafted epics, and gear all over the place for sale

Illidan (533 pages of Auctioneer scans)

Pretty much the same as Mal'Ganis

Voting for Mal'Ganis

1) Lots of Horde, lots of people to potentially sell gold to
2) Lots of raiders, lots of people to potentially PUG stuff with
3) EST

John doesn't want a good server because he thinks seeing people with "Heroic" items are going to make him want to play 30 hours a week, faggot.

Any other ideas.

Clearly you haven't brought an idea, I was just using large Horde 15k+ servers, they just happen to be top progression servers as well, I can't fix that.

because i just decided today that i didnt want to raid anymore, for the third time ive told you this

we dont want to ninja transfer without telling anyone, mainly liz because josh just shit on her

i dont know why you are crying about 3 weeks of raf, you know it is just as easy to buy a month for the raf account than it is to buy a month for your main account, and the alts gc is given to the mains gametime too
we have been on gorgonnash for over a year, we will be on the future server for likely just as long, id like to put some thought into it before blowing $25 that the two of us clearly dont have

we have plenty of RAF time to level alts that we dont need to make a definitive decision on a server to transfer to by 5 hours after we decide to transfer servers

you know that if we somehow didnt do jack shit for 2 weeks (or 1 month and 2 weeks) that we would have way more than enough wow time to do 2-3 full sets of level 1-60s

i told you that you can completely pick the server, the one criteria (other than obvious shit like high pop and active) was that it wasnt a TOP US guild server like magtheridon, illidan, mal'ganis, im sure that still leaves plenty of well-progressed high pop servers on a horde dominant battlegroup

but i know you only wanted to do something so fast because you were, in your mind, thinking/hoping that what you were doing was more productive and a viable substitute to the studying you should have been doing

i did the same thing when i was bothering joe every 15 minutes about apping to my guild when i was studying for 2 midterms

as much as i enjoy raiding i cant tell you how refreshing it was last night to not raid, and to not feel any need to. id love to get back to when we collectively played together, but apparently because we are all so headstrong we cant stand each other (yet that was ok in tf2?). being a successful 10 man guild would be so much more fun and the commitment would be so much less.

i honestly dont care much about gdkp. i want to be able to pug regular 25 man content, or find another casual 10 man guild to do 25s with. something that takes a few hours and go hit up more pvp or something.

xfering servers with Liz having just brought 2 of her friends over seems shitty. i feel bad for her. vic seems to have found a guild, thats good for him.

IMO WE NEED TO BE LESS "YOU ARE BAD" AND MORE "LOL" ABOUT SHIT

i dont know how many of you seriously raided in TBC, i know john started to near the end post-raid nerf close to the expansion, but i used to LOVE raiding. when my guild on trollbane finally decided to stop going into SSC/TK and move on to hyjal and black temple, i would actually look forward to raids. i'd always make it early, get everything prepared, etc. we weren't even that good, though i was there for our first kills all the way from gorefiend through illidan, and our 2nd archimonde kill, and then through brutallus.

i'm not one to join the nostalgic "bring tbc/vanilla back" folk, but i just enjoyed raiding in TBC so much more and i dont know why. when wotlk hit i started to play my paladin, and was the main tank for my guild pushing through naxx 25 with blacksmithing crafted gear and heroic drops, which was extremely difficult for a guild trying to compete for server 1sts. that's probably what killed it for me, the stress of trying to compete with other guilds got to us, and me as the front man was weighed down too much. i eventually asked to go holy since we picked up a new prot warrior and i wanted to relax a little, and they basically pushed me out of my raid spot little by little, first by refusing me loot because even though i attended raids as holy i didnt "officially" change, thus making me not entitled to any loot, including protection gear because "it should go to the people who actually want to tank".

i didnt say a good server
i said the #3 server in the US

clearly you cant tell the difference

Clearly you haven't brought an idea, I was just using large Horde 15k+ servers, they just happen to be top progression servers as well, I can't fix that.

And I have Stoya on that server >.,

And there is a guild on there selling single achievements I need for RPD for 3k each =/

i dont know how many of you seriously raided in TBC, i know john started to near the end post-raid nerf close to the expansion, but i used to LOVE raiding.  when my guild on trollbane finally decided to stop going into SSC/TK and move on to hyjal and black temple, i would actually look forward to raids.  i'd always make it early, get everything prepared, etc.  we weren't even that good, though i was there for our first kills all the way from gorefiend through illidan, and our 2nd archimonde kill, and then through brutallus.

i'm not one to join the nostalgic "bring tbc/vanilla back" folk, but i just enjoyed raiding in TBC so much more and i dont know why.  when wotlk hit i started to play my paladin, and was the main tank for my guild pushing through naxx 25 with blacksmithing crafted gear and heroic drops, which was extremely difficult for a guild trying to compete for server 1sts.  that's probably what killed it for me, the stress of trying to compete with other guilds got to us, and me as the front man was weighed down too much.  i eventually asked to go holy since we picked up a new prot warrior and i wanted to relax a little, and they basically pushed me out of my raid spot little by little, first by refusing me loot because even though i attended raids as holy i didnt "officially" change, thus making me not entitled to any loot, including protection gear because "it should go to the people who actually want to tank".

raiding TOC 25 at first was fun, dont know if it was the fact that it was piss easy (we didnt really know it at the time), or just that it was new

i think making everything puggable aside from 25m hard modes is really killing the hardcore-casual raiding scene that all of us fall into
