DEATH KNIGHT
Gearing wise, a lot will change. There are no completely accurate stat weights yet available, but it's not terribly difficult to judge how they shift:
* Haste will greatly decrease in value, partially because we are no longer GCD constrained (far from it), partially because we no longer take Necrosis (which greatly increases haste), and partially because we no longer take Glyph of the Ghoul (which moderately helps haste).
* Armor Pen will greatly increase in value, as approximately ~55% of our damage will now benefit from it.
* Crit and Agility will greatly increase in value, despite us dropping 4P T9, as the new Scourge Strike double dips into both stats (whereas it only dips once into such things as ArP, Str, AP, etcetera), and the new SS will account for over a third (~37%) of our total damage.
* Strength will slightly decrease in value, since we will not be taking GotG. It will still be the best stat to gem for, post hit cap, of course.
* Weapon DPS will greatly increase in value, simply because of how much it inflates the damage of the new SS.
In the end, wherever the actual weights fall, it will be along the lines of: Hit until cap > Strength > Expertise until cap > Crit Rating > Armor Pen > Agility > Haste.
Good, most of my DiPS gear is all ArP for Blood already. Going to need to get DBB after all. And drop the 1h's proelbay.

Socketing should follow this rule:
A socket bonus that requires one yellow gem must be at least 4 hit rating, 4 spell power, 6 haste rating, 7 crit rating, 8 spirit or 23 int.
A socket bonus that requires one blue gem must be at least 5 hit rating, 6 spell power, 8 haste rating, 10 crit rating, 11 spirit or 32 int.
If it is less than that, just socket a red epic gem. If it is more than one slot, simply add the numbers above for each slot.
