3 raiding hunters, none with the gear for marks besides him

he would not switch because while it would boost his dps, it would boost the other hunters considerably as well [imp hm + hm glyph + tsa] and therefore he would not look as good

complained we never had a marks hunter etc

and that annoying misdirect macro lolol

and just general pic loot favoritism to him, ie polearm, cloak, bracers

as for hunter tahpic, proalbey only in the market for one of you, maybe both of you for the short term to see who works out in the long term
he has you on gear, age, experience
your downfall of not raiding for a large amount of time and still being with parents will be more important than gear

I wish I had saved DPS #'s for Vundo, they were fucking bad.

Taurus looks like he's starting to show his colors when asked about playing as MM, I think you should make it very clear that you are versed at all spec's and very capable at any, stand out a bit, build yourself up some. Regardless if you can or not, pretty sure you'd pick it up with no problems, I've switched my "primary" spec to Unholy DPS now or something, not sure what the fuck my role is, still, but I play it well enough to look good.

IE - If I had better gear I would proelbay be right alongside Crabmaster as top dogs melee.
