Kinda boring right now, clearing HM ICC in about 2 hours on Tuesday, then waiting around and dealing with people's work and school schedules so we have a really good raid comp for HM LK. Had a 13% wipe on HM Lich King 25 at the end of last week and with Premonition taking the U.S. first some people are getting demoralized, but hopefully we'll grab the kill on our last raid day tomorrow, 25 out of 40 left after using 15 on Wednesday. Then the 2-3 hours a week Tuesday raiding boredom while we wait for Cata to come out, gives me more time to do more important stuff i guess

What exactly is vodka's schedule like during progression?

Yeah, my computer is a fucking piece of shit. I think I perform very well for my situation though.

I know you guys just farm one night and spend the rest on LK, do you run any old content? Do they actually supply you with food, enchants, gems, repairs, etc? I would imagine they could if they had people who would run shit to sell items to do this like some guilds.

How are 10 mans ran, just formed in guild chat?

I saw Killars posted they would sell a Mimiron's Head for 200K. Seems crazy steep which just means they A ) don't need cash, B ) are not running that shit ever again. I ask because I want one, can proelbay get one much cheaper though.

Our guild killed HM Saurafang and can't repeat it, I'm pretty sure after a few attempts they have it down period for good.

During progression the schedule is nuts. You're expected to take time off work and school if applicable because you know so far in advance when new content is coming. The first week of ICC hard modes we were putting in 10 hour raid days 6 days a week. However, our normal schedule for progression is 5-7 days from 7-11 est, but quite honestly it is rarely 7, and rarely 6. We usually have Friday and Saturday off even during progression, and sometimes Sunday as well. Most people in the guild work and or go to school. Right now, it's really lax like I said, 2-3 hours on Tuesday, I usually sit for most of the bosses because I really don't need much anymore, then we schedule LK for a convenient night of two later in the week.

The only old content we do right now is ToC HM 25 for a few reasons. Number one, we still have people that need trinkets for offspec. Number two the 272 cloaks are still very good, the armor pen one for example is still BiS for fury warriors over any of the 277's. We don't do Ulduar. The guild I was in previous to vodka (I've been a vodka member for about 5 months, before that I spent 3 years in the horde guild Gong Show (still a top 20 US guild) and left when their officers decided to xfer to Blood Legion).

We run 2 10 mans, each 10 man gets 3 groups of people that the officers split up and people switch in and out for bosses/achievements that they need. People don't really argue about raid spots or loot or achievements, we all know we're going to get it done eventually.

Our guild bank is stocked, not only do we get free repairs for raids, but we're allowed to repair outside of raids all we want. At the beginning of each raid week we all receive an in-game mail from the GM with consumables. Right now, every Tuesday in my mail i get 20x Flask of the Frost Wyrm 40x Potion of Wild Magic 40x Potion of Speed. Fish feasts are dropped by one of the officers at every boss, and enchanting mats are available from the gbank for free as well.

And ya, people in the guild vomit when they hear the word Ulduar these days, so the price would have to be very good for us to sell a head at this point I'm sure. I've had one for about 4 months now that I got in my old guild, it's way more awesome to ride in it as a Gnome than it was as a Troll



Our ICC HM progression took about four weeks. 9/12 the first week, and then 3 weeks later we killed Sindra and Putri on the same night. We made the mistake of thinking that Putricide would initially be easier, which it wasn't, and we ended up blowing a lot of attempts on Putricide wiping sub 5% a lot. We finally gave up after a full week of attempts on Putri and then 10 out of 20 the next week, and started working on Sindragosa, and we 2 shot her, lol. Then we walked over and manned up and killed Putricide, this is all before the zone buff came out mind you.

That sounds a lot like I expected it would. I know a lot of guilds still run ToGC, our guild has downed it once, ever. I will never see a 272 Cloak which is still BiS for DK's.

No lich king kill tonight, lots of sub 20% wipes. 15% buff tomorrow so he should die really easy, sucks to not get him with the 10% though.

Lame, good luck next week, sounds like any guild consistently getting into phase 3 has it on lock down with the 15% coming.

My guild hasn't pulled Sindragosa for some stupid reason, and has spent 2 nights on LDW without killing it, and LOL wasted like 40 attempts on Putricide.

An example I can give you tonight, I am getting pretty tired of our terrible players holding us back, so I took it upon myself to do Lich King in my Chef's Hat and still finished 11th overall in damage. One of our Hunter's was about even with a tank.

Someone made ALT posts on the official forums about her performance in raids, and now our World of Logs reports are private, so we can't really rank anymore.

If the reports weren't true, we probably wouldn't have had to hide them from the public and would be like, "LOL". But alas, protect the females of the herd. Ya heard?

It won't be that drastic, certain parts of the fight are still unforgtiving, mainly the frostmourne room. Had a kill tonight and fucked it up. 14% with a minute left on the enrage and we got ported down for our fourth and final frostmourne room and like 3 people died (one person dieing in the room means a wipe). We stopped with 35/45 still left, cause our fury warriors computer literally set itself on fire or some shit, and other people were dcing. Hopefully tomorrow.

So people with shitty computers are in top dog guilds?

Just couldn't get it done last week. Highlight of the night last night was coming up from the third frostmourne room with everyone alive and the boss at 20% and a kill in sight, and our MT accidentally walked off the edge as he was zoning back up top. Not even kidding. Seems we can't catch a break. Had a real tough night with priests getting picked up all the time (infest healers / source of divine hymm if paladins or disc priests get picked up), our boomkin (whom we basically can't do the fight without) was stuck at work for two nights until 10:30 because his manager was fired. Plenty of it can just be attributed to poor play though, mainly melee failing with defile and tanks falling over.
