Hard Mode Halion testing right now, pretty fun fight. Adds spawn from the meteor now in phase 1. When you take the portal, there are two death beams downstairs instead of one and if you get hit by it at all it snares you massively. Also the void zones from phase 1 now carry over downstairs. The adds in phase one are very remniscent of sarth + 3. One large add with 880k hp and 10-12 small adds with 88k hp. Large add has to be dragged away and dps'd down by range or it buffs the small adds into big adds, and also multiplies it's own life and damage. Fight is pretty chaotic, and you need 3 tanks so dps is tight. Need to have really good raid synergy across the board for this fight.
I was watching Blood Legion's stream before we had to raid and it looked like they just mowed through the add phase.
Ya, we had a lot of trouble with it because we had a pretty bad raid comp on the PTR that day. No boomkin or ele shaman, and a lock that usually plays aff playing demo, which is why we had some trouble with the adds at first. We got to pretty much the same point every other guild on our level did, trying to handle the downstairs in p2. Blood Legion mages make me laugh, kids parses are so terrible. Our kills on World of Logs are always faster.
