i quit, but will probably buy cataclysm and reach level cap and raid for a couple months, doubt i will stay through to 4.1 though

could stay away if i wanted, just have to control what you put into it, the worst part about wow to me was the mindset that every minute of my time in life was somehow valuable for playing games, so just chilling or watching tv for a few hours felt like i wasnt accomplishing my potential in not accomplishing anything

honestly though i wish i could play wow like 2 hours a couple nights a week and not have that be a waste because you cant accomplish much with that time frame

Depends on your goals.

You're fault (much like my own) is the achievement system, we see that and feel we need to have those "accomplishments", else we are wasting our time. And it takes a long time to get lots of them.
