Poop is primarily aimed at Chins but I'm open to anyone else's ideas.

The fiancée wants to tag along with me during my workouts but she is unable to do some of the necessary movements. So what I'm looking for are ideas to make pull-ups/chin-ups and push ups easier.

For push ups, I tried having her do them from her knees but she cant do more than 1 or 2. I then tried to have her do "wall push-ups" by increasing the distance between her feet and the wall. Other than that, I am flat out of ideas for her except for just laying on her back and doing dumbell presses.

There is no way she can do even 1/2 a pullup. She is just too small. Would she benefit from me picking her up and just getting the negative? Or should I buy her some resistance bands to wrap up around my pullup bar?

What about cable bar pulldowns instead of pullups with her sitting on the ground from a high bar? :donno:

btw this is probably the wrong name for it but i think you could get the idea

All my exercising is done in my home gym which is semi deconstructed atm. I can't image that I'd be able to get a lat pull down machine for less than a couple hundred bucks. :/ I was thinking that the resistant bands could do the same thing for only $15... Mind you that I have no idea the amount of resistance that resistance bands can produce, and this idea might just be a waste. :donno:

Just spot her on the chin/pull ups.
If you dont feel like it, let her do negatives.
Same with push ups, tell her to do negatives for them.
If you need more help lmk.

All I'm looking for is a way to help the beast keep up with me without feeling like a failure. I'm looking for ways of modifying the movements of pushups and pullups since she is too weak to do them. Just while typing this message I thought of something else we could try. Icould put achair under the pullup bar and let her assist herself in pushing up with her legs. Still at a lossfor the pushups, might have to make her just do presses with low weight until she can do pushups from the knees.

All I'm saying is if you were gonna poop here, itcould have at least been something not previously mentioned or on topic. :whistle:

For her push ups...tell her to do negatives only, very slow and controled. And then tell me if her chest is sore or not.

Try the EZ curl bar, it weighs a little less

Get her DBs..that's what Samantha uses.
Have her do them on the floor, not on a bench..it'll save her sholders.
