The cold reality of my physical condition finally caught up with me.

Over the course of the last year I have been in denial about getting back in the gym and pissing around with half-assed routines.

Last night at my baseball game I got ahold of a pitch and it barely made it to the warning track...last year I was sending them over the fence with ease. The cold reality of how weak I have gotten with slim to no serious workout routine has me depressed. 3 fucking months ago the beast and I had a plan lined up to slim up for our wedding using a high entensity upbeat cardio program. It's now 2 months later and we might have done 3-4 workouts.

So basically I'm gonna get back into what I'm most familiar and comfortable with. Powerlifting and strength training via 5x5 routine.

I don't know why I initially created this toilet other than to vent, but I think I'll use it for tracking purposes and setting goals.

1. clean garage/shed to make room for exercising and dust off the weights
2. Locate old lifting notebooks and spreadsheets for weekly workout planning/tracking

1. Place/space for lifting acquired along with a potential candidate for lifting partner/spotter, just need to relocate the bench and all 600lbs of weight
2. Notebooks found, but I'm going to try a new electronic format to plot progress in excel and use my spare time in the office making charts/graphs showing progress/goals

I have a 5x5 routine that I created for myself, perhaps we can share notes.

I'm doing this one...you can DL an excel sheet and it tracks it for you/tells you what to lift.
