if u ever do runs to kill regular tortoises by the gnome area, shells are at pretty much an all-time high selling instantly at max:

they've been going up for a few days. the tortoises drop 0-4 regular shells. "perfect" shells can be exchanged for 500 crafting xp if u collect those too. i tried these out since i needed summon seconds and i made 200k in 15 minutes at one point; however, normally the luck isn't as good. so for now it's probably a viable profit option with quick combat xp. not sure how it would avg out vs slayer but it would beat a crap task and be worth much less than a good task.

not sure if normal torts dropping shells is new, but it's easy and the prices have been going up lately. i cashed in a few mil in the past few days but tbh a good slayer task will earn as many or more rsgp per hour. all depends on luck.

I hardly got a lot of rsgp on tasks unless I'd get lucky with a whip drop on abbys. I think most tasks I'd get 200-400k. Not bad, but not going to earn me several mirron.
