My XPS just shit itself and will need a new motherboard/cpu

so I think instead of spending over 1k for just those im gonna get a whole new rig. give me some ideas, prebuilt would be nice but I can also build my own,

best procoessors for the $$?
best vid card for the $$?

for every computer i build i just browse over to newegg.com to buy all the parts

i havent kept myself up to date on what the hotest shit is for process/vid card but it would probably take you a grand total of 4 minutes to find that out at that site
