I have taken half a dozen upper level communications classes without taking COMM1000, yet they only offer that from 9am-2pm on Saturday mornings. Looks like I am not going to have a second major in Communications because I can't do that shit.

we have saturday classes, they are usually once a week classes

no one takes them

never heard about saturdays classes before
in euroland even if you wanted, professors would never agree to do so: monday to friday or gtfo

There are a handful of those, but most people don't have to take them. A few of them are taught by people who can't teach during the week due to other jobs, same reason there are classes from 7-10PM (a lot of business ones are taught then by people who work for huge companies etc)
