Dogfish Head makes a lot of good beers too.

Anything brewed by:
Dogfish Head
Magic Hat
Sam Adams

is worth a try. I highly recommend MH #9, DFH Aprihop Ale, and Sam Adams Winter Lager.

Additionally, if it is available near you, check semi-specialty/specialty stores for Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stour - It'll cost you $4-6 for 550ml, but it is one of the greatest beers ever.

Brooklyn brewery
It's fairly priced at $35 a case considering it has 10% abv
I would not recommend it as your first stout purchase.

Lionshead was my favorite when it only cost $9 a case, now it's like 14 and there are better beers for the same price

Icould talk about beer all day if you wanted honest opinions..I use to work for the liquor board ;)

Recently tried the Kendall-Jackson Pinot Noir 2005, it was very smooth and enjoyable with or without food.

You use top shelf organic ultra-pure cranberry juice because you are a faggot/hippie.

Or you use a splash for color, also known as disguising your alcoholism.

Yeungling costs $9.99+ for a 6 pack here :(

Most micros are ~14 or so for a 12 pack and 9 for a 6 pack, occasionally cheaper, often overpriced though.
