All classes before 10am are cancelled

Storrs campus (across the state) has all classes cancelled, one of my professors lives there and is not driving down here today, but of course my campus can't cancel classes for stupid reasons.

A few years ago, the head of the campus cancelled all classes on a day when every forecast predicted 12-24 inches of snow starting mid-morning, the storm barely missed us and the school only got a dusting of snow, while the towns where some students come from happened to get the aforementioned foot of snow. People who get paid a lot to be right about everything threatened to fire the head of the campus for doing this, so he has rarely cancelled classes since then.

campus is closed, announced at least ten minutes after I would have left to make my normal commute there.

a friend informed me of this change because he showed up there for his student worker job and found out that the building was closed, nice fucking timing.

my university sends out the email to cancel school at like 5:30 AM, before anyone who commutes to that school will have left

all classes canceled all day.
