had my first stout today
it was pretty good, however kinda weird. had no hops flavor, was warm-ish, and lots of carbonation. good overall taste kinda like coffee/chocolate and maybe a nutty/bready aftertaste. Black/reddish color. very creamy consistancy with a sweet smell
Bell's Special Double Cream Stout 7.5% alc / volume

Leffe Blond is incredible! beeradvocate.com only ranked it between a B and a C
but i really like the full bodied-ness of it even tho it is relatively clear. very nice foamy head with delicious sweet banana-like smell. very drinkable and i could easily have a 6 pack of these in one night and keep wanting more.
highly reccomend

only complaint is that the sweetness of it kind of drowns the hoppy-ness.

definately the best beer i've had so far. 9% alchohol and i dont taste it at all. still notice hops in a stout as well as roasted coffee and a little bit of sweetness that is not overdone.
44 bucks a case but you can buy a 12 oz bottle for about 2 dollars so i would reccommend at least a try
holy Fuck this is amazing

Stopping at a little pizza shop tonight on my way home from work... They have a Russian imperial stout that is aged in whisky barrels
I'm trying to talk myself into trying it at a ludacris $21 a bottle
