i sat there, next in line, for about 20 minutes... they opened like 5 other registers around and kept pulling the person behind me to their lines
i eventually got mad enough to pull the race card and shouted, at the next cashier who attempted to take the person behind me for their line, "am i not allowed to next because im white?"

I think i confused the cashier enough to finally just let me step in the front of that line

i cant say that i agree with what you did, those people proalbey had no idea what the fuck was going on and were just doing there shitty job and trying to pay their bills.
