You can partition out the bad sectors and hide the bad sector partitions. However, if you are looking to have a good gaming rig that is working at it's best, the extra partitions are just gonna slow ya down. I'm not current on prices but shell out a few bucks and get a 10,000 rpm disk drive and you will be happy with the investment.
considered this but then i have to also buy windows since this is not a home built computer
