This article is about the sandwich. For the cheese dish often referred to as "toasted cheese", see Welsh rarebit.

I beg to differ joesaphina. Any asshat with a pocket calandar and a plunger can create a wiki account and edit that shit. I mean holy hell, people are still proclaiming the world is round and that isn't right. Come on don't trust everything you read on the Internet.... Especially the wiki cuz it doesn't have a giant poop on my face.

i love how everyone discredits wiki even though whenever asshats like yourself go to change the grilled cheese into some "toasted" monstrosity there are people who check it and change it back

fact remains melted or fried is the only "true" to the meaning name, but grilled is the accepted american name. please move to euroland you toasted faggot.

Lol
I hope to God that the socially acceptable norm for the over generalized American population does not succumb to this trickery. If I am suppose to conform to the likes of what is socially hip than I might as well pour my fucking homebrew away and fill my fridge with bud light, coors light, and miller light

This isn't about beer, Eurofags, or any one else, it's about you being a faggot and calling a grilled cheese by another name.

If America accepts grilled as the term for toasted cheese, than I do not accept America.

Simply providing context for an arguement moximoose, no need to get out of line champ.
