i have 25 people picking 1000 bananas per second
those 25 people all together produce 25,000 bananas per second
if i give each banana picker a magic glove that lets them produce +1% more bananas, each banana picker will be picking 1000*1.01 = 1,010 bananas per second
adding up all 25 banana pickers with magic gloves = 25,250 bananas per second
25,250 is a 1% increase over 25,000
25,000*10.1=25,250
giving out 25 magic banana picking gloves does not mean you will get +25% bananas picked in total
