am i doin this right

Al + Br2 -> Al2Br6
balances to
2Al + 3Br2

how much Br2 do you need to fully react with 2.56g Al

2.56g Al / 2 = 1.28g 2Al / molar mass Al (27) = .047mol al

.047mol 3Br2 * molar mass Br (70) = 3.29g 3Br2

3.29g 3br2 * 3 = 9.87g Br2

no you need to convert from grams to moles first then do your molar ratios

also your ratio is 2 moles of al per every 3 moles of br2 and the molar mass of br2=79*2
