but on a serious note, its 2 different things that aliens exist and that they was so technologically advanced so they could managed to come all way to the earth and still there is very important question: why would they abduct anyone?

so i would asume that their scanning technology would not require collecting any specimens from surface of planet they study

unless the physical properties of their planet are not exactly alike ours and they have resources that naturally put them at an advantage in terms of travel, not because they are advanced intelligently or technologically

also, even though we are extremely advanced as a species on our planet, are we not interested in the more simple life forms around us and study them?
