atm you can jailbreak and unlock both iphones. the 3g and 3gs with blacksn0w ad blackra1n.

i prefer to only jailbreak to get free apps. if you need to unlock means you have no contract which makes the iphone pretty senseless. internetphone wihtout internet is fail.
