it's up and down. playing through norm/nm were ok as long as it's on the lowest settings, but on hell things start getting pretty shaky when the screen fills up especially when i play in public games. I started a HC char, but until I get the gfx card back from newegg, i probably wont play past norm.

dont bother with the i7 unless a: you want to spend the extra money and b: you plan on doing things that utilize it.

i think i agree with you. although i will probably get the 3570k because it allows for higher stock ram speeds without voiding your warrenty, uses less power and heat at stock clocking (which i wont be OC probably...) and it allows for use of PCI 3.0 slots. 2500k is sposed to overclock better and overall has not much improved speeds (maybe ivy is 10% faster at most), but i wont be OCing anyway

and finally... the build has been completed
got my replacement gpu and it works perfectly on highest settings

i always assumed that the generic lag was server side stuff, but it seems the screen was too busy for the onboard graphics to handle it
