Current price is $19 US per 1mil igg, there is no reason you couldn't sell it if you wanted to.

SC prices have had a huge price drop though, down to 1M/$13 US, checking out HC now as it has been a steady 1M/$49 US, checking to see how many people are actually buying

As with any economy prices are set by supply and demand, there is a lot more gold in the game now and so the supply is very high.

Yeah that is from VS, not my screenie though.
My laptop can only run 1 D3, I tried to run 2 but FPS dropped down to 11-13 FPS and was unplayable. Was going to start power leveling chars but just not going to happen on this laptop lol
