Haven't seen many buying HC gold, site I use had literally 1 person in a 24H period buying gld and was only 2.5mil
If you can find buyers then HC would be the way to go as the price is still reasonable.
SC prices will just get lower and lower.

Yeah, HC doesn't really have the type of players that would buy things with money normally.

However, I could make some good FG with a bot.

Oh, wait.

you still want fg? wow

Just found Inna's Splendor, monk set hat lvl 60.
Did a search on AH and highest was 10mil, 20 pages later lowest is 300k lol
I'll prob just leave it on a bank alt until RMAH goes live and see if someone will buy it for like $10.
The price differences on AH are just insane.

Also I have noticed that recipes seem to drop in certain places, farming crypts has gotten me 4 or 5 each of the exact same 2 recipes and no other recipes.
So if you get a really good recipe drop remember where it was that it dropped.

I can't survive long enough to think about farming in inferno atm.

I suppose I should just do hell ponies and earn gold that way for a long long time to upgrade gear.

50/50

Gold is down to about $9/mil now, but is selling much faster and people are paying more on the AH for things.

No way to now. Demand went up a lot today and price is now stable @ $10/mil for quick vendor sales.

I love how any moron making a post calls them "Chinese" gold farmers, the person in the interview could be some 12 y/o kid living next door to you.

Here's how it worked, I found out to late - but I hope they have a way of tracking it and rollback those who did it.

Player A puts item up on AH Player B buys item Player A takes out the gold from that transaction Player B turns back the clock on his desktop by 2 days Player B will get back the money he spent on the item, and player A will also have the money that was originally paid, thus duping the gold.

although i never tried this and they are claiming it worked? I only tried the clock thing when and item got sold never tried when i bid on something.

Here is one supposed method of how the item duplication worked:
Bid 200k (random value) on item A.
Roll your clock back.
Your gold resets to what it was.
Bid stays.
You outbid yourself on item A.
You receive your 200k gold from getting outbid.
You now made 200k gold out of nowhere.

yeah I only sell if it goes up over $7, $5 just isn't worth it for me.
Always people buying so waiting for higher price isn't that big an issue as I can easily sell 10M+ when I like the price.

is anyone selling commodities instead of the items?

i've been salvaging all inferno drops worth < 850 hoping for inferno crafting supplies. tears/essences sell for 1k each easy - like almost instantly. if you get that fiery brimstone they sell for 20k+ each pretty quickly
