To help hit that goal we’re lowering the number of guaranteed Rare items on bosses when you have your full five stacks of Nephalem Valor from two guaranteed Rares to one guaranteed Rare (you still have a very good chance at multiple rares, it's just no longer guaranteed). In exchange, all champion and rare packs will now drop a bonus guaranteed Rare item when you have your full five stacks of Nephalem Valor. The change benefits players with more overall drops, and a reason to push to continue progressing."

They just made the game way too easy now, again straight from the front page preview:

"We’re removing the bonus monster damage per additional player in a coop game. Our design goal is for players who prefer to play solo to be able to play solo, and players who prefer to play in groups to be able to play in a group. We feel the bonus monster damage per additional player is one of the biggest inhibitors to wanting to play with your friends."

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?!?!?!?!?

So what they do is they open the RMAH, fuck over a bunch of people in small increments ($100 or less), and then fuck up the game so that no one wants to play anymore. It's an ingenious business plan.

Monks get the same ias nerf as well.

You're right. They also stated that they're changing the imbalance of attributes on rare mobs/unique monsters. I wonder if that means no more Arcane enchanted + molton + Frozen.

absolutely love the new portals out of town act1.
I just happen to be on the quest where you walk out of the nrthwest gate, I click the portal and by the time I "zone" I am dead because of the elite pack at the spawn point, which you would have normally walked to and seen them from a distance.
Once again, glad it's not HC as that would kinda piss me off dieing in this way.


Hmm just noticed, my DPS on DH went down 3000, same gear, same skills. Ohh how I hate nerfs

Check out the repair costs now. Melee isn't viable at all. I started a Warden/Butcher run, no deaths, and am LOSING money due to insane repair costs.

And went from 17k dps to 11. Fucking 11.

So, how am I supposed to melee now?
Lost 6k damage, ok fine, I will deal, back to getting enrage timer on Butcher but I'll just camp the door.

HOWEVER.

I'm losing roughly 1-2k a minute just in repair costs. At this rate due to buying all upgrades recently I won't be able to repair my gear in 3 hours.

What then? Run around naked in act 1 normal and pretend to be a hardass?

My damage went from 52k to 36k. Swapped out my, now pretty shitty, windforce for a generic 1 hand crossbow and bounced back up to 41k
