d3 is slowly getting there... but the best items are still too unobtainable for the casual player. d2 casual play meant you had one awesome char and thats it. d3 casual play means you have nothing
dont count on that staying like that, blizzard loves to add new content right after the most time-investing players are able to outfit 2-3 characters to the current end-game
the multiboxing really changed shit imo. the average person never gets shit worth shit, so they increase drops. professionals multibox and get 100 legendaries an hour, making anything you find worthless.
