Guess this is a @Task, @Steve, @Lobb, @Sgull, @College students toilet.
tl;dr. Where the fuck should I buy my textbooks, I usually use amazon and find the best deal. Any other suggestions?

alternately, go around the classrooms after finals and pick up all the textbooks that people leave there. sell them on amazon or use them if you need them.

Buy used books and check local bookstores.
Renting is also an option if you can't get used books.
I've saved hundreds on renting and used books.

I honestly would rather just buy the book and resell it on Amazon when done.
