Eric got his on sale for under $250 at like home depot.
There is one on walmart for like $350 (clearly on sale.)
Im clearly saying it is going to be the best kegerator in the world for less than 300 bucks but it gets the job done and I would trust it more than a used one.

Just make one yourself m8

Much easier to find a used tower and used mini fridge then fill in the blanks

I think putting one together from used parts is stupid. Case in point: Bryan has a garage full of used pieces and still hasnt put one together. He will have spent over 500 bucks by the time it is said and done and all he has to show for it is something creative, unique and more expensive than outright buying one brand new.

It all comes down to what you want to do. If you have cheap or free parts infront of you, why clearly do it? The only reason I built mine is because I wanted multiple taps. If I was going to do it all over again and only was going to have 1 thing on tap. I would buy one on sale/clearance.

I guess my opinion is a little biased though. After having a "used and cheap" one up and running it was only a matter of months before the old fridge died and I had to replace it. By the time it was over with I spent more money on 2 old used fridges than if I would of had a brand new one. Keep in mind that refrigeration systems (frigidaire, kenmore, whirlpool, samsung, GE, kitchenaid) are built with an "expected life" of only 4 years.

Dude if he wants something simple he would just need a single tap tower and the mini fridge. How is that going to blow his bank account? He never stated he wanted to create something way out there with 50 taps, just something to serve beer.

And who the fuck is Bryan and why should I give a fuck that he cant just get what he needs instead of needlessly spending money

It would still be cheaper imo the buy a new mini fridge and find a used tower then put it together. Those put together ones never seemed like a good deal unless you didnt have access/didnt know how to use tools.

the toilets @ me and created by dan. dan i both know who bryan is which makes the conversation relevant. stop crying and trying to argue about it, im just stating my opinion

if you read what i said, i think it is useful to put your own together if you are going for more than one tap line. since what dan wants is probably somethin simple to put his keg of IST on tap, im pretty sure buying one on sale is going to be his best bet. if he wants to throw one together with used parts, im here to help him with that too. it's his choice clearly yours or mine

Well I know it his choice but dont come sauntering in acting as if I am stating my opinion as the only option for him. You came off exactly as me, my point is that he should at least look into all options and compare based on his needs, clearly just preconceived notions.
