i looked up all my teachers that i remember

they are all in the 65-80k/yr range, and more than half of them only have a bachelolors

Privatize education and get rid of the Federal Department of Education and let local/states handle their problems.

The problem is that it has become too centralized.

but on the same token, education should clearly be you get what you pay for, although i dont fully believe that. i just think education is far too important to leave up to someone only thinking of the dollars of it.

either way, lets just cut our education budget, lets make sure admins make six figures, lets make sure that the student is clearly the number one concern.

yeah

principal at my school made like 170k last year, ridiculous.

superintendent must make bank, fuck that guy though.

oh well, our governor is cutting budgets for teachers, maybe they will redistribute

I'm clearly calling for the entire education to be privatized, but more competition could be good for some schools.

And I agree we need to make it more about our students. Our education system is broke.

The assistant principle at my school one summer worked like 4 hours and made like 800 bucks I saw his time sheet in his office.
