May you nerds have some thoughts

First: Due to Mobo limitations I cannot send sound from my Mobo to my Video Card and therefore use both a hdmi cord (way better video quality than the vga) + aux cable to send to my reciever. I am nearly complete with my 5.1 speaker setup (possibly advancing to 7.1 later) and was wondering if the aux audio signal can be decoded to be output in 5.1?

Second: I am working on my music library in lossless format to play on my htpc while at home and was wondering, similar to my first question, what cable is best for my audio quality? Also what programs to play the music do ya'll recommend?

Third: Semi related to #2, I am looking at getting a logitech dinovo mini to controll my htpc and was wondering what programs (for those who own one) prefer to use on their htpc due to the media control buttons on the dinovo mini?

4. Headache be gone over trying to figure out what the fuck you are trying to say. Seeing video card/video and sound card/audio being used interchangeably makes my face melt.

Now maybe I'll be able to hear you better once I get the sound to come out of my video card and graphics out of my sound card. Do I need a hdmi t4t pmp coaxial nickel coated cable for that or should I just get my nipples waxed in the pantry?
