Evan I really think you need some perspective, no trolling, but your complete lack of empathy is frightening

Also health is clearly just physical, just because you can run far does clearly mean anything

have you ever seen a 300 lb man that can run 10 miles?

and scott, how the hell can i respect anyone who doesnt even respect themselves by being healthy. you dont have to go to the gym 2 hours a day or spend 2x the amount at the grocery eating organic, just eat the right foods (and less of it), get off your butt and try to be active and you wont be obese. its clearly that hard america

even when you have a good idea its founded on self-righteousness and general hatred for others. you represent all that is wrong with humans.

we are the laughing stock of the world. i guess you are ok with that cuz you voted for a dipshit

i actually didnt vote for him, but nice try. you are nothing but a stereotypical conservative whos political beliefs are founded on the talking points you hear.

as for the laughing stock, thats probably because 44% of the worlds military spending is spent by us so we can clearly win "nation building" wars or the war on drugs . and our general populations is continually misinformed by cable media. we make food that is horrible for you the cheapest to get. its you religious conservative wingnuts who want to teach creationism and abstinence in school, which anyone with a working brain knows will only make us dumber (because you are conservative you do get grouped with the religious zealots just like im a "socialist hippy" in your eyes).

no, the reason people laugh at us is because we are a population of people who have a media that can lie to its people (and the people love it), a government that preaches freedom and prosperity but written in fine print only if you can afford it, a nation that spends billions fighting immigration yet our entire agriculture system is predicated on it, ridiculous spending on pet projects by politicians who must repay their donors, and a general gullibility by the people to actually believe the problem is solely "social programs".

in short, you are a moron with no real thoughts of your own outside of "tax fat people"

the point being that there is a direct correlation between the ability to perform strenuous activity and physical health. im sure scott, you would be in decent health. you are clearly obese, type 2 diabetic, or a chain smoker. im clearly sure how much you drink but even if you drink a lot, you probably arent in bad health.

the fat tax is more directed towards people who are sick or in really bad shape, their doctors advise them to exercise and change their lifestyles, they dont, and then 5 years later end up needing 100's of thousands in medical care. those people who neglect their own health should pay a higher premium because the responsible people shouldn't have to be funding their care

where to start. i will try to be concise.
i agree with you on a lot more, if i am honest, than you may believe.
-spending should be on technology, research, and affairs at home, clearly "nation building wars" i completely agree about that.
-war on drugs is retarded. try to stop hurtful crimes, and maybe consider legalization. probably 50% (i dont know the exact number) of prison costs are due to locking up non-violent users.
-creationism/abstinence is stupid, i dont know why the hell conservative wanna promote that. why couldn't God have created the world by the big bang? dont you think God maybe used evolution as a means to create life?
-food in america is probably the single most fucked up part of it, but it allows everyone to have access to meat and all the food they can want by it being so cheap

we differ on a lot of issues also, the truth is we do live in a great country, there is a lot of opportunity here, no matter where you come from. i should try to understand that most people arent as blessed as i am, its just difficult to sympathize with people that dont want to help themselves, but still feel entitled to services like health care

End all of our military campaigns in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen. Heavily decrease military presence around the world. End all non-humanitarian foreign aid. Greatly scale back subsidies on production of pseudo-food products like HFCS (agriculture subsidies should go towards producing actual food). Create a single-payer healthcare system. Fund a national research effort on renewable energy on the scale of the Manhattan Project.

close to 23% body fat and 26 bmi (got these numbers and was like fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu)

i smoke less than a pack per week (mainly only with drinks) but i have done so for quite a while now looking at it

i dont consider myself too terribly out of shape but i definitely am self conscious about getting naked in front of girls now (also detriment to my sexual activity)

either way, probably clearly at me, but i can do things to fix this

my health insurance will offer incentives to be better at life (preservation of self) and i will take it seriously

carry on

i think my body fat was measured as 21%, and im happy with that. id like to be 18%, but sounds like you arent in bad shape if i am comparing myself. also bmi is the most bullshit measurement and doesnt take into account muscle mass, body fat %, water % etc etc

If you think taxing fat people will somehow solve any problems, then you are about as dumb as people who thinks punishment will prevent crime.

if you make being fat expensive, less people will do it. there will still be a lot that do, and the taxes they pay can help pay for sidewalk repair, cleaning the large amounts of CO2 production, and sewage blockages/maintenance

jk but i meant the universal healthcare taxes should take into account your health so people are encouraged to try to be healthier, by getting a tax break
