one thing you should read all of is what dan suggested, is the preston and child series with pendergast. good stuff, a little dark and mysterious, great character and plot development.
check out the bachman books, good short stories and im always amazed at kings ability to legitimize the process of going insane or being delusional.

I saw Gladwell had a couple others and was planning on getting them if I liked Outliers. I am pretty excited to read it so I am finishing up the 30 or so pages I have left on the Power of Now, which I have really enjoyed, to get to it. Also I want to read the Rum Diaries before the movie comes out and I just ordered "Island"

I will keep that in mind when I get back on a fiction kick, mostly just non fiction right now.

This reminded me to look up the status of Clive Barker's Abarat series to which I find I can preorder the third book Absolute Midnight finally after waiting for 7 years!!

I've been meaning to read Gladwell's books for the past couple weeks now. Let me know how the read is and if Outliers is good I'll start with that one.
