been experimenting off and on with this for the past 2 weeks and today it is done
aunt jemima's ready made pancake mix
instead of just water, I used a combination of water, fresh brewed coffee and a quarter cup of founder's KBS (beer made with coffee and aged in maple syrup barrels)

before making said pancakes, I fried up 2 pounds of bacon
saved bacon drippings to grease the pan for pancakes
inserted some bacon in batter and sprinkled on top

that pancake would fall apart in seconds with the weight of the syrup and so many holes. a syrup soaked pancake is disgusting and inferior.

i cut up my smooth fluffy pancakes with a fork and then lightly dip into syrup for the best taste bud experience.
