moved into new place a couple months ago, noticed AC unit didnt work for anything but a fan. it would switch on the compressor and instantly turn off

no big deal, it was 75 or lower for HIGHs every day and 50-60 lows every night. NN for a while.

well this past week has been hard on the whole country I guess and its 95-100 all day and 80 at night. sunday night and monday night we braved through it until the repair man came tues morning

buttsecks was in order until today (2 days later) BRAND new AC unit purchased as a replacement by the landlord for our apartment makes the loudest fucking noise I've ever heard and doesn't even work as a fan anymore. keeping windows closed for now and just hoping i can make it til tonight since i guess it will be 68 tonight. left a message at the ac repair mans phone but i think he hates us now

ah well, viva AC, at least it didnt break yesterday

with high humidity anything above 90 is nn

today it was 110 with heat index :(

Even though my "promotion" didn't involve a pay raise, I get to sit down and only do ~3 hours of work for every 8 hours that I am there.

So I use most of it as time to network with attorneys and media people who shop there in hopes of finding a better job soon.
