"moderate protection" "efficacy clearly established in elderly or children" (the only at risk groups for mortality from flu are these people, and ofc the immunocompromised)

but still, its clearly that they are 100 ineffective, but rather they potentially dont have the upside many think. there is realistically nothing wrong with getting more antibodies, and if they really could develop a vaccine that covers a range of flus its still seemingly a step in the right direction.

right, but the problem is making a flu shot is like pinning the tail on the donkey. they just guess which strains they think will be around, so they can just be completely wrong and make an ineffective flu shot (happens frequently enough)
