How does one install an operating system from an OEM the first time after building a computer?

How do you update drivers for your GPU, HDD, etc. I assume you go to the manufacturers website.

How can I make sure I have all the necessary cables before building? What is the general idea behind cable.management?

What do you need to wear/stand on to clearly fry components with electricity? Are rubber gloves recommended? Is it.best to open all packages first before building or one at a time while installing?

Going to place my order.

3. re-review what you are purchasing and what connectivity options they have that are/are clearly included. i use small zip ties im sure duct or electrical tape would work as well
4. leave everything in the static bags until you are ready to install. ground yourself out before touching any part

Make sure to coat your hands thoroughly with honey (organic if available) before starting assembly. This will negate any static electricity from being generated to ruin any components.

Yes, honey is hard to get off carpet and upholstery.

I personally always look for an excuse to munch carpet.
