Why Joe is the biggest hypocrite alive:
-Trashes the two party system every chance he gets, talks about and relates 100% to a third party candidate (even sounds like her when he talks), claims he's going to vote for her, but when election day comes he votes into the two party system he hates citing, "I wasn't sure Obama would have enough votes in Oregon to take the state."

You are a gigantic tool Joe. Be the change you want in the world.

maybe you missed the part about feeling dirty about it. but i stand by my view that no actual 3rd party candidate held my attention on more than a single issue or two, and voting on a single issue makes you an incompetent voter.

and if that was your biggest criticism then im ok with that, its overly sensational on your part
you are clearly voting for a party (one of my main criticisms about politics is party voting), you are voting for the person. if jill stein was a better candidate she would have had my vote.

Now that they lost, are they going to say how they wouldve cut taxes by 20%, which loopholes to close, and all the things they didnt say during the campaign? :euh:

Under 50k
Some college (3 classes away to finish)

Independent (My views come pretty close to match the Green party entirely except for the whole organic bullshit they get tied into)

Decided who to vote for in the booth.

Prevented myself from voting 3rd party because I didn't want the current republicans in office. Was between wasting my vote for Stein or Obama.

In other news though, Gary Johnston got slightly over 1 million votes.

Also this election means the GOP is going to change. Expect Chris Christie and Rubio on a very moderate platform in 2016.

Washington and Colorado passed small marijuana legalization. A small step towards the process of ending the drug war. Now we just wait and see if the DEA and federal government decide to waste our precious tax dollars and waste their time arresting people there for big busts and kiss freedom good bye.

i was talking to eric last n8 about you evan. neither of us can figure out how a man of the cloth (lab coat) who deals in empirical data as a basic principal can be so delusional in your political ramblings. (caveat: i realize you are trolling many times, but since you never take any serious effort to actually clarify your stance we are left to believe what you say)

and the only conclusion i can come to is that you deal in hard facts as a job so when you leave the office you like to kick back and live in a delusional world where facts are ignored so a particular ideology can be further propagated.

i really hope so. something i pooped in the df vote toilet, to paraphrase, is that i think there is a huge voting block in america that wants a centrist and is willing to ignore the fringes of either side and that no topic is taboo to discuss the merits/cost/benefit of.

Honestly I like chris christie. Perhaps clearly for all of his beliefs, but having the balls to tell fox and his own party that this isnt a time to make shit political i have a state in chaos and the president helped me and our state out when we needed it. Being blunt and straightforward is what I think politics should be clearly pandering to a certain group.

Depending on the platform and other things, I could see myself voting for chris christie.

i agree on the christie standing up to fox/gop but i will say that christie would have many of the same issues that initially plagued obama in that they both approached their job in a heavy-handed manner and this pisses off the people on the other side of the isle. on the flip side, though, the dems could never band together like the gop did and halt everything.

i was talking to eric last n8 about you evan.  neither of us can figure out how a man of the cloth (lab coat) who deals in empirical data as a basic principal can be so delusional in your political ramblings. (caveat:  i realize you are trolling many times, but since you never take any serious effort to actually clarify your stance we are left to believe what you say)

and the only conclusion i can come to is that you deal in hard facts as a job so when you leave the office you like to kick back and live in a delusional world where facts are ignored so a particular ideology can be further propagated.

maybe he just prioritizes what is empirically correct over everything that is empirically wrong and just doesn't give a shit.

then the gop should make their platform about what is empirically correct instead of what they have been doing
point being its convenient to personally define what the party is to you, but that does clearly mean the party is what you want it to be.

Also this election means the GOP is going to change. Expect Chris Christie and Rubio on a very moderate platform in 2016.

i really hope so. something i pooped in the df vote toilet, to paraphrase, is that i think there is a huge voting block in america that wants a centrist and is willing to ignore the fringes of either side and that no topic is taboo to discuss the merits/cost/benefit of.

i was talking to eric last n8 about you evan.  neither of us can figure out how a man of the cloth (lab coat) who deals in empirical data as a basic principal can be so delusional in your political ramblings. (caveat:  i realize you are trolling many times, but since you never take any serious effort to actually clarify your stance we are left to believe what you say)

and the only conclusion i can come to is that you deal in hard facts as a job so when you leave the office you like to kick back and live in a delusional world where facts are ignored so a particular ideology can be further propagated.

lol, maybe. its clearly like the GOP hates research and funding of it. i realize a lot of GOP members are retarded when it comes to science, and the fact some of those don't understand concepts like evolution is infuriating. as a catholic, i believe that evolution was the way God made life on earth, so i don't even understand the religious arguments. This is only a very minor part of why i would vote for a particular party. i think the topics that are more important is overall government spending, size of military, size of social programs, foreign policy, economic policy. obama's track record is abysmal for things like the national debt, which he claimed to reduce it by half in his time as president, and instead it has nearly doubled.

i am disappointed that romney lost the election. he convinced me that he was a good candidate to fix our country's budget troubles by energy independence, education, cutting unnecessary programs, and driving down costs by giving more responsibilities for the states on programs like health care. However, Obama has also said that his policies will create jobs and fix the economy, so maybe he will. maybe 50 years from now if i am still alive i will reminisce and say that he was a good president, but for now i am uncertain

There is many things that can go and should go, but people just dont like to hear harsh truths.

then the gop should make their platform about what is empirically correct instead of what they have been doing
point being its convenient to personally define what the party is to you, but that does clearly mean the party is what you want it to be.

Nobody is going to agree with everything that a party represents. You choose the issues that are most important to you and vote with the party that best represents those ideals. Then whenever you have a chance to make a statement for the issues you disagree with in the party you stamp your vote that way.

im sorry, i didnt meant to imply that you had to agree with the entire platform. i was commenting on how the gop forgot to base their current platform on facts or real scientific research. pretending that they dont is only lying to yourself.
